Franklin Wharf Restaurant & Bar is on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our iconic Hobart venue which includes our busy Restaurant and Function Centre.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Overseeing the daily operations of the Restaurant, Bar and Function Centre
  • Driving venue sales and hitting revenue targets
  • Managing staff recruitment, rostering, and performance
  • Coordinating stock ordering and supplier relationships
  • Leading social media and promotional activities
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and venue presentation
  • Ensuring compliance with RSA and licensing regulations
  • Working nights and weekends will be required

What You'll Need

  • Proven hospitality management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication and people management skills
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience at senior manager level
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
  • Confidence in sales, operations, and staff management
  • Experience with social media marketing (desirable)
  • Current RSA and Driver's Licence
  • Availability for flexible hours including nights and weekends
