Join a leading Tasmanian Professional Services firm as their GM - Corporate Services

Your new company

This well-established Tasmanian professional services firm has been supporting businesses across the state for over 30 years. Known for its commitment to excellence and strong community values, the firm provides accounting, tax and advisory services to a diverse client base. Located in central Hobart, the firm is led by experienced Directors and supported by a high-performing team.

Your new role

Reporting directly to the Directors, this newly created executive role will lead the firm's corporate services functions. As General Manager Corporate Services, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and supporting strategic initiatives across the business.

You will oversee finance, HR, IT, marketing, compliance and general operations, ensuring systems and processes are efficient, scalable and aligned with the firm's long-term goals. You will also play a key role in managing risk, supporting staff development and leading major projects that enhance business performance.

What you'll need to succeed

You are a seasoned executive with a strong background in operational and financial leadership within a professional environment. You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business, accounting or finance, and ideally a CA or CPA designation. You bring extensive experience in both hands-on roles, as a leader and have a proven ability to lead teams, manage complex projects and deliver strategic outcomes.

You are commercially astute, collaborative and solutions-focused. Your communication skills are exceptional, and you are confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in dynamic environments and are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What you'll get in return

This is a rare opportunity to join a respected Tasmanian firm in a senior leadership role. You will be offered a competitive salary package: $140-160k + super, excellent working conditions and the chance to work with a passionate and committed team. The role offers genuine scope to influence strategy, improve systems and contribute to the long-term success of the organisation.
