The Opportunity
Exciting opportunities exist for highly motivated and experienced Supply Officers to join our busy Stores Department at Wollongong Private Hospital. The successful candidate will support all hospital departments by ensuring adequate stock is available as and when required and will be responsible for the ordering, receiving and storing of stock in relevant locations/stock levels in accordance with hospital purchasing and inventory control policies and procedures, as well as provision of usage reports to ensure stock controls enable organisational objectives.
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will be a highly organised with exceptional communication skills both written and verbal. You will have a strong team focus and the ability to be flexible with shifts.
You will also demonstrate:
- Experience in working in a service focused, busy supply environment.
- Previous experience in hospital supplies desired.
- Experience in problem solving, analytical, organisational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to successfully undertake complex tasks and meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with SAP and RF Scanners (desirable).
- Sound computer skills (experiencing using MS Office programs).
