About the Role

Right now we need a sharp, keen person to help with admin and supply chain support based in our Corporate Office in Brisbane.

You can expect to help out with:

  • Preparation of freight documentation
  • Data verification, entry and record maintenance.
  • Liaison with growers and admin oversight of activities.
  • Pallet control.
  • Report preparation.
  • Accounts functions.
  • General office duties.
  • Other similar tasks as required from time to time.

The role really is about helping out some busy people at a busy time of the year, so don't expect to turn up and cruise through the day. Instead, expect to be flat out, helping here, there and everywhere, using your initiative to grab hold of opportunities that make a difference.

Skills & Experience

You don't need a lot of experience in any particular field, but you will need an eye for detail and a can-learn, can-do approach. This opportunity really is ideal for someone who wants to learn and shine, and anything you've done in an admin or self-organised type of role is really handy to draw from too. You'll need to be accurate in your work, handy with software like Excel, and able to pick up other systems and processes quickly.

It is important that you are naturally inclined to being thorough, keen-to-learn, flexible, proactive and helpful. Oh, and you'll need a great work ethic - the team will be counting on you.

How Temporary?

The contract period is from now through to mid-March but might be extended, depending on the season. Employment for that period is permanent full-time, with some flexibility on daily start and finish times. There may also be the chance to work from home a day or two per week once you're up to speed - talk to us about that if it's important to to you.

Longer term opportunities may be available if that's what you are looking for and you've shown you're a good fit. In the meantime, you'll be exposed to many aspects of the business, getting hands-on experience and picking up plenty of essential skills.
