We're Hiring: Service Scheduler

We're seeking a Service Scheduler to join our high-performing electrical company, working with some of the industry's most respected technicians and commercial clients. Pulse Electrical is a respected electrical company having provided outstanding electrical, solar, HVAC and telecommunications services to our customers for over 27 years. Due to our continuing growth, we currently have a new opportunity based at our Newstead Office in Brisbane, for a Service Scheduler to join our dynamic, supportive and driven team
About the Role:
As a Service Scheduler, you will be working in a dynamic team who are the operational backbone of our Service Operations Team —ensuring jobs are scheduled efficiently, customer expectations are exceeded, and KPI's are not only met, but surpassed. You will liaise closely with major clients, field technicians, and internal management departments to coordinate workflow and deliver seamless service from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service and communication to high-value commercial and residential clients
- Receive and interpret detailed work requests, entering and scheduling them through our job management software
- Prioritising high-volume incoming work to ensure all client and internal KPIs are met
- Monitor and update internal systems and client portals with real-time scheduling data and daily progress reports
- Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and delays using critical thinking and sound judgment
- Collaborate across departments and within the Service Operation Team to ensure technicians and works are optimally dispatched
- Maintain accurate records, support compliance and service reporting, and assist with administrative duties as required
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a fast-paced service coordination or scheduling role (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC or Facilities Management industries are an advantage)
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills—both verbal and written
- A proactive, positive attitude and strong customer service orientation
- Advanced organisational and time-management skills
- Experience with SimPRO or other service management software is highly regarded
- High-level of computer literacy and comfort with technology
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make smart, fast decisions in real time
