Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disability, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, offering tailored support in various areas, including daily living activities, personal care, and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilitie (1) Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. (2) Support clients in daily living activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and shopping. (3)Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote client engagement and wellbeing (Community Access) (4)Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and report any changes to appropriate personnel. (5)Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans. (6)Uphold the dignity and respect of all clients while adhering to confidentiality and privacy standards.
Qualifications: (1)Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) is preferred. (2)Previous experience in a support or care role is advantageous. (3)Strong communication and interpersonal skills. (4)Empathy and a genuine desire to help others. (5)Ability to work independently and as part of a team. (6)Current First Aid and CPR certification.
