Disability Support Worker

Squad in conjunction with our valued Host Employed are seeking a passionate individual to join their team as a Disability Support Worker.

The Role

This role comes with a plenty of variety and the chance to get highly sought after experience. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Enhance the life of our young person through youthful engagement and connection.
  • Provide integrated person-centered care for a young person living in their home.
  • Collaborate and cooperate with other support workers and family.
  • Plan and prepare for community participation involvement

What are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have the following;

  • Current Working with Children Check and Current Police Check (or NDIS worker screening test in place of a police check)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • First Aid Level 2 and CPR Certificates.
  • Ability to form and build strong professional relationships.
  • Willingness to develop an understanding of disability and allied health care work.

Locations: 3749

Contracted Hours: Casual- negotiable hours - potential for part/full time in the future

Salary Range: $50.20 p/h casual

Commencement Date:  ASAP
