About the role
We are currently seeking applications from experienced Health Care Workers to join our Residential Aged Care team. Suitable candidates will hold a Certificate III/IV, Diploma or Bachelor certificate relevant to the position.
As a Health Care Worker in our Residential Aged Care facility, you will provide high quality and safe personal care to our residents, utilising a consumer-focused approach you will ensure their needs are met with respect, dignity and positivity.
A typical day may see you supporting residents with self-care and mobility tasks as well as monitoring health, diet and personal needs, in conjunction with the broader health care team.

About Us
Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed, small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. We pride ourselves on being a consumer-focused progressive provider of care to our community, patients and residents with a multidisciplinary focus.
About you
You are passionate about what you do and want to support our consumers to live life to their potential. You will also have the following;
- Certificate III in Individual Support/ Aged Care or equivalent
- A clear and strong commitment to the providing quality care to our Consumers/Residents
- Strong communication and consumer service skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve
- Able to comprehend and follow written instructions and procedures
- Motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Current Drivers Licence
