APEX Transport and Distribution is a privately family-owned transport and logistics business, established for more than a decade. Head office in Laverton North (VIC), depots in Clyde (NSW), Gillman (SA), Welshpool (WA) and Rocklea (QLD).

We specialise in providing both Road/Rail transportation and distribution services Nationally.

About Role

With continued expansion and growth, we are seeking a motivated and passionate Sales Representative. This is a new and exciting hands-on role, crucial to ensuring we continue our national expansion.

APEX is looking for someone who is a natural hunter, self-motivated with proven reliability and strong communication skills. This role will be 80% on the road, gathering new business leads and converting these to new customers. Knowledgeable of transport – road linehaul or rail would be highly advantageous.

This role WILL BE fast paced, you will work autonomously and be expected to generate new business consistantly.

Duties

  • Achieve set KPIs
  • Generate NB leads
  • Update and build NB CRM system
  • Convert NB leads
  • Full onboard lifecycle
  • Be the primary point of contact for NB customers within your region ensuring prompt and professional responses maintaining and updating customer records within the CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal departments to enhance service delivery and support where necessary
  • Update Sales report and report in sales meetings
  • Provide quotes to customers and close where required

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess

  • Previous Logistics / Transport experience is highly advantageous
  • 3+ years Sales experience – real estate, recruitment, transport industries are welcome to apply
  • A pro-active and can-do attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • You must have high energy levels
