ELLEN HEALTH is a fully accredited general practice located in the heart of Fremantle. We have a busy reception team supporting 25 part time practitioners. We are currently looking for another team member who enjoys the fast pace of general practice, has a high focus on customer service and patient interaction, and has a caring and enthusiastic approach to the position. The position is part-time, working 7.30am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and assist patients with enquiries and appointments.
  • Answer and respond to telephone enquiries courteously and professionally.
  • Accurately process patient payments via cash, EFTPOS, and direct bill transactions.
  • Ensure the accurate storage and retrieval of patient personal and financial information.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of the medical centre.

Essentials:

  • The role is patient-focused and requires excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail when managing documentation, booking appointments and filing.
  • We utilise a range of medical software which requires strong computer skills.
  • You will be working alongside a large, multidisciplinary team; we are looking for a team player with the ability to multitask.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • You will be available to work either on the weekend or to 9pm at least one day per week.

Highly Regarded:

  • Previous experience in an accredited general practice.
  • Experience using Best Practice software.
  • Retail experience an advantage.
