Independence Australia is a social enterprise that provides choices for people living with a disability or other personal need, enabling them to regain and retain their independence within an inclusive community. As a social enterprise, we re-distribute funds generated from the sale of healthcare products into programs to support people living with a disability.

Role Description

The Pricing Coordinator is responsible for reviewing and maintaining pricing. This role will be instrumental in delivering administrative support to the Pricing Team, thereby ensuring the efficient management of pricing and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain and validate up-to-date accurate pricing information.
  • Collate and maintain accurate pricing information for reference and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve pricing discrepancies, as required, ensuring the timely and accurate update of the ERP systems.
  • Collate and distribute various reports as per required schedule and ensure timely dissemination. File and store reports in accordance with internal procedures.
  • Efficiently retrieve pricing data from the ERP system when needed for analysis, reporting, or decision-making.
  • Offer administrative support including maintaining Pricing Mailbox, file organization, data entry, and responding to Pricing enquiries, and providing ad hoc reports as required.

Required Skills

  • Computer literacy– Excellent intermediate level proficiency of using MS Excel.
  • Analytical thinking– Ability to analyse and prioritise information and capable problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Numeracy Skills - Ability to prepare and understand pricing, margins and data analysis.
  • Communication - Strong and proven written, and oral communication skills.
  • Interpersonal skills - Ability to effectively build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organisational and administration skills - Well-developed organisational skills with initiative and the ability to work under limited supervision while prioritising and planning workflow to meet deadlines. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and to work effectively within a fast-paced environment and to adapt swiftly to changing priorities

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in Pricing or Procurement roles.

  • Certificate level 4 in business and or finance related field or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation.
