Pricing and promotions hold significant importance in the retail industry, playing a crucial role in product sales.

The Pricing Coordinator position involves coordinating internal pricing reviews, daily competitive pricing checks, and actions on behalf of the Merchandise team. Key responsibilities include preparing Retail pricing information for use by the Merchandise Managers in setting competitive retail pricing.

Additionally, this role entails gathering promotional submissions from suppliers to support set promotional programs agreed to by the buyers. This includes preparing Catalogue Masters to ensure they are of a standard to be sent to the Marketing department.

You will work closely with category managers to identify gaps in discount and collaborate with suppliers to secure additional deals. Effective communication is essential in this role, particularly when updating pricing with pharmacies.

To succeed in this position, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a Category / Buying Administrator, Sales Administrator, or Pharmacy assistant/management position.
  • Pharmacy industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills are also essential, along with high-level communication skills and attention to detail.

A strong organisational and time management skillset is required, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivation and a positive attitude are necessary to drive success in this role.
