We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and professional Neurosurgical Practice. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a specialist environment where attention to detail, empathy, and teamwork make a real difference in patient care.

You'll be the first point of contact for our patients, supporting them through their surgical journey while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

About You

We're looking for someone who is professional, organised, and patient-focused.

You'll have a calm and confident manner and enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability

  • Familiarity with medical software (Genie, Gentu)

  • Knowledge of Medicare, health fund, and WorkCover billing processes

  • A professional presentation and commitment to confidentiality

Desirable:

  • Experience coordinating surgical procedures and liaising with hospitals

  • Understanding of medical terminology, particularly neurosurgical or spinal
