Experienced Medical Receptionist – Riverstone Family Medical Practice

Riverstone Family Medical Practice is seeking an EXPERIENCED Medical Receptionist to join our team.

Please note: Only applicants with previous medical practice experience will be considered.

If you have strong front-desk skills, understand the flow of a busy medical practice, and are confident supporting GPs and nurses, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and compassionate service to patients.
  • Handle appointments, patient enquiries, and phone calls efficiently.
  • Manage and update patient records accurately.
  • Support daily clinic operations, patient flow, and GP schedules.

Essential Requirements

These are mandatory – applicants without these will not be shortlisted:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience working as a Medical Receptionist in a GP clinic or medical practice.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare processes, bookings, and front-desk workflow.
  • Familiar with Chronic Disease Management (CDM), care plans, and health assessments etc.
  • Excellent communication, computer literacy, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain calm in a busy environment.
