About the Role
As the first point of contact, you'll create a positive experience for every patient while keeping the clinic running smoothly. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong communication, organisation, and attention to detail.
Key tasks include:
- Greeting and assisting patients
- Managing phone calls, bookings, and patient flow
- Processing Medicare, private billing, and Tyro transactions
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring privacy compliance
- Supporting doctors, nurses, and the reception team
About You
- Previous medical or healthcare reception experience
- Friendly, reliable, and professional
- Strong multitasking and communication skills
- Knowledge of Best Practice software (preferred)
- Understanding of Medicare and private billing systems
- A proactive team player with a patient-first approach
