Medical Receptionist – Join Our Team at Morningside & Belmont General Practice Clinics

Morningside General Practice and Belmont General Practice Clinics are looking for a friendly, professional, and motivated Medical Receptionist to join our supportive team.

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a busy, patient-focused environment. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in providing excellent service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across our clinics.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting and assisting patients in a professional and caring manner
  • Answering phones, booking appointments, and managing enquiries
  • Processing Medicare, DVA, and private billing payments
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry
  • Supporting doctors, nurses, and fellow reception staff
  • General administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the practice
About You
  • Previous experience as a medical receptionist (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer and typing skills (experience with Best Practice software an advantage)
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • A caring and professional attitude towards patients
  • Flexibility to work across both Morningside and Belmont clinics
