About Sakura House
- Located in a vibrant basement space on Elizabeth Street, licensed to trade until 4AM.
- 100+ seat izakaya-style venue with live music
- Menu inspired by the depth of Japanese flavours and guided by the seasons' finest produce
- Extensive cocktail, sake and spirits list to match
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Support our Head Chef with menu execution, prep systems and service flow
- Ready to help shape a new venue from day one
- Calm and focused in high-volume service
- Passionate about flavour, leadership and hospitality culture
What we offer
- Salary package $80,000 – $85,000 + super + tips (based on experience, references, trial)
- 50% staff discount across all Pollen Hospitality venues
- Staff meals provided every shift
- Weekly tips (30%)
