ROSSI Restaurant and Bar, located in cosmopolitan Prahran Victoria, is a fast paced, fun work environment. We are looking for a talented and passionate person for the position of Chef de Partie

Broadly the role will include (but not limited to):

  • Contribute to the menu planning and daily specials, as required
  • Checking all food products, including meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables and fruit for quality and freshness
  • Stock inventory and ordering as required
  • Cooking and preparing meals in accordance with dietary requirements
  • Specialising in Pasta cooking and Fresh Pasta making knowledge
  • Compliance with applicable health codes and regulations
  • Flexibility to work split shifts, including evenings and weekends

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Relevant qualifications no less than a Diploma level or equivalent qualifications/skill set; and no less than 2-years relevant employment experience in commercial kitchen
  • Italian food knowledge and experience preferred
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a team environment
  • Good communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
