Chef de Partie (Overnight Shift 10pm–6am)

Location: Clayton South, VIC

Hours: Full-time – Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm to 6:00am

Join a growing food manufacturing team producing high-quality, ready-to-eat meals in a modern HACCP-certified facility. We're seeking a reliable and motivated Chef de Partie to take ownership of overnight cooking operations — preparing proteins, pasta, rice, and sauces that form the foundation of our premium meal range.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cook and prepare large-batch recipes following standardised production sheets.
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and portion control.
  • Work independently overnight to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety requirements.
  • Accurately record batch and temperature logs.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintaining kitchen hygiene before shift handover.

About You

  • Trade-qualified or experienced Chef with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a food manufacturing or high-volume production kitchen.
  • Excellent understanding of safe food handling and cooking temperatures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently overnight.
  • Positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high food standards.
