Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Coordinator to join their friendly, close-knit team based in Jandakot. This is a 612 month role, working an 8 or 9 day fortnight, with the potential to go permanent. Perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment where everyone supports each other and is willing to step in when needed.

Youll be the go-to payroll contact, managing fortnightly payroll for around 250 employees across full-time, part-time, and casual contracts. Most of the workforce are busy trainers, so youll need to be proactive in chasing up timesheets and able to relate to people with a helpful, approachable manner.

  • Processing fortnightly payroll with accuracy and efficiency
  • Exporting data from timesheets and maintaining payroll records
  • Setting up new employees in the payroll system and actioning payroll/HR changes
  • Updating organisational charts and systems to reflect changes, with regular audits to ensure accuracy
  • Performing systems administration and reporting functions for P&C and payroll systems including Adapt, DiSC, LearnUpon (LMS), and P&C Dashboard
  • Assisting with SharePoint employee folder clean-up and filing
  • Supporting the Payroll Coordinator with compliance, payroll tax, and superannuation
  • Keeping up to date with payroll-related legislation across multiple jurisdictions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years payroll processing experience
  • ADP system knowledge (desirable) or the willingness and attitude to learn it quickly
  • Experience with computerised payroll and timesheet systems
  • Certificate IV in Payroll Administration or Human Resources, or relevant experience
  • Strong MS Office skills and high computer proficiency
  • Ability to work well in a small, supportive team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
