Job Overview

The People and Culture Administrator plays a crucial supporting role within the HR team, assisting the People and Culture Advisor in delivering comprehensive HR services. This position is responsible for providing administrative support, coordinating HR activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. The Officer will contribute to fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement.

Key responsibilities of the role:


• Administrative Support: Assist with HR administration tasks, checking and actioning the P&C inbox, drafting letters, contracts, and maintaining accurate employee records


• Recruitment Coordination: Support the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and assisting with onboarding new employees and reference checking


• Employee Engagement: Help organise and implement employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and recognition events


• HR Systems Management: Maintain and update HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and assisting with troubleshooting any issues, making changes on employment records for variations


• Monthly performance review process administration: Status reports to manager on completion rates on a weekly basis


• Payroll and Benefits Administration: Provide support with payroll inquiries and administering employee benefits and reward programs


• Event Coordination: Help organise and manage HR-related events, such as training sessions, team-building activities, and employee recognition events

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is advantageous

Required Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in an HR administrative or support role is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HR information systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Mandatory Conditions of Employment

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Valid NDIS Workers Screening Check.
