Bar Supervisor

Sydney-based hospitality group, Liquid & Larder, are searching for experienced charismatic Bar Supervisor to join the team at Bistecca.

About The Venue:

The Bistecca experience begins by pulling up a stool or a candle-lit table in the old-world, wood-panelled cocktail bar, stocked with amaro from across the world, including our Four Pillars classic Negroni. Moving into the intimate 50-seat restaurant, you're greeted by refined Tuscan hospitality. From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher's block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth. The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for private dining.

Bistecca is fast paced, though our guests are met with a warm, timeless and nostalgic feeling, that is sincere and welcoming. We want them to feel comfortable, and still have a sense of the raw, rustic, and a little bit of cheek

About The Role:

As the Bar Supervisor, your role is to uphold impeccable standards for the quality of drinks served and the service provided, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.

This hands-on role offers the perfect platform for a dedicated hospitality professional to excel in a small venue where their personality and customer-focused attitude can truly shine.

The ultimate goal is to exceed customer expectations, leaving them thoroughly satisfied and wanting for nothing.

Prior experience in a hatted venue is essential, along with a keen eye for detail to maintain the consistent quality of our offerings.

Your Day to Day:

Ensures all beverages are to specifications and consistent

Shares and upholds company core values

Provides direction and leadership to the bar team

Ensures efficient, professional guest experience

Ensures staff adherence to policy

Communicates efficiently between all members of the venue.

Ensures company adherence to relevant legal requirements.

Ordering of wet and dry goods

Cocktail creation

Carries out additional duties required to fulfil the position and as requested, this includes hosting and assisting waitstaff with service.

About You:

Proven experience in a within a premium or hatted venue

A confident and calm demeanour

A genuine passion for hospitality, teamwork and being of service

High attention to detail and a genuine passion for guest interaction

Strong organisational and communication skills

Availability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and evenings
