Collier & Miller is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sales Consultant to join our busy Industrial Supplies team.

In this role, you'll be at the frontline of customer service — supporting our Sales Executives, helping customers find the right products, and playing an important part in keeping industries across the Riverina moving.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Sales Consultant in our Industrial Supplies team, you'll play a key role in keeping local farmers, tradies, and businesses stocked with the gear they need to get the job done. This isn't a standard sales position— it's a fast-paced, hands-on role in a busy department where every day is different. One moment you might be helping a farmer with bearings and sprockets, the next assisting with truck batteries, lifting gear, lubricants, or industrial paints. You'll even get involved in making and repairing hoses on site. Your daily tasks may include:

  • Assisting customers and suppliers with sales and enquiries
  • Managing quotes, orders, and stock replenishment
  • Building product displays and supporting promotions
  • Working with your team to keep the store safe, tidy, and welcoming

What You'll Learn

No sales experience? No problem. We'll give you the training and support you need to succeed. Along the way, you'll build skills and confidence in:

  • Helping customers find practical solutions to keep their farms, workshops, or businesses running
  • Understanding technical products like hydraulics, bearings, automotive parts, and industrial hoses and fittings
  • Developing strong customer service and communication skills
  • Learning how to manage orders, backorders, and stock

What We're Looking For

You don't need experience — but if you have some, that's a bonus. Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn. Ideally, you'll be:

  • Interested in learning about technical and industrial products
  • A clear and confident communicator who enjoys helping people
  • Organised, with good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

To be successful, you'll also need to:

  • Be physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg and use trolleys/pallet jacks
  • Pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test
  • Available to work Saturdays and occasional overtime
