Armstrong Ceiling Solutions is a market leader in the Australian and NZ commercial construction industry, providing innovative and high-quality ceiling solutions for a wide range of projects.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant to join our dynamic NSW team, covering the NSW/ACT territory.

In this role, you will work closely with Ceiling & Partition Contractors, Construction Companies, Project Managers, and Contract Administrators to promote Armstrong's ceiling product portfolio. This role is ideal for a sales consultant that has recently graduatedin the field of engineering, construction, architecture or has a trade background in carpentry.

You will be providing ceiling technical information across major commercial projects while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C&P Contractors, Construction Companies, and key decision-makers across NSW/ACT
  • Present Armstrong's product solutions across commercial projects and assist in technical problem-solving
  • Support quoting processes by preparing basic pricing and documentation
  • Coordinate the delivery of product samples and technical literature
  • Identify project opportunities using Cordell Connect and Estimate One and share insights with the broader team
  • Maintain project and customer data in our CRM system (HubSpot)
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience teams, to meet client expectations
  • Provide post-tender and inquiry follow-up support
  • Represent the Armstrong brand professionally and ethically in all interactions, reinforcing our market leadership

What you'll bring:

  • 1–3 years' experience in sales support, customer service, or a construction-related role
  • Mandarin speaking would be highly advantageous
  • A friendly, proactive approach with a strong desire to learn and grow in construction materials sales
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Exposure to construction or an ability to interpret basic construction plans is highly regarded
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Microsoft Teams, and CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Estimate One, Cordell Connect, Aconex, or Procure is advantageous
  • A trade qualification or tertiary education in construction, sales, or business is a plus, but not essential
