About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused person to join our friendly Sales team at our Albury branch. This opportunity can be tailored to suit the right person — whether you're an experienced Internal Salesperson or a Trainee keen to start your career in the steel industry.

This role offers the chance to learn all aspects of steel distribution, working across both office and hands-on warehouse tasks to deliver exceptional service to our customers. You'll be part of a supportive team where your contribution makes a real impact every day.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide exceptional service at the counter and over the phone
  • Accurately process invoices and purchase orders
  • Respond to customer enquiries promptly and professionally
  • Assist with general office duties to support smooth sales operations
  • Support the team to maintain efficient and organised sales and distribution processes
  • Getting hands-on in the warehouse when needed (e.g cutting, preparing, checking orders or loading customers)

What We're Looking For

  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience in sales or within the steel industry is highly regarded but not essential
