About the Role

This is a fractional role (1–2 days per week and onsite at least once per month)—for a senior HR professional who thrives on strategic partnerships, hands-on implementation, and leadership development.

You'll work directly with our CEO to design frameworks, coach our team, and embed best-practice HR processes that scale with our business.

  • Support workforce planning and organizational structure for rapid scaling.
  • Lead performance, conduct, and change management issues.

People and Culture

  • Provide strategic input into employee engagement, performance, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Equip managers to lead motivational performance conversations with confidence and fairness.
  • Design practical
tools and step-by-step guidance for managing performance.
  • Build leadership capability to address underperformance and foster a high-trust culture

HR Documentation, Processes & Frameworks

  • Review and update employment contracts for all Australian team members.
  • Develop and manage contractor agreements to ensure compliance with contractor definitions in accordance with Australian employment law.
  • Create processes, documentation, and frameworks to support growth.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience as an HR Advisor, Consultant, or Business Partner (professional services, finance, or start-up experience preferred).
  • Experience in complex HR scenarios and unique use cases.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Modern Awards, and Fair Work obligations.
  • Skilled communicator and coach with a hands-on approach.
  • Proven ability to balance compliance with business agility.
  • Availability to work on site in Melbourne (1–2 days per month).

Why NAX Capital

  • Partner with an innovative, licensed digital asset brokerage bridging traditional and digital finance.
  • Directly influence leadership capability and company culture.
  • Flexible fractional engagement with real strategic impact.
