About the role

Coolangatta Surf Club is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our renowned beachside club. As our Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our club, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage all front-of-house operations, including our busy bistro, reception, bars and gaming.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
  • Liaise with club members, guests, and external stakeholders to address concerns and provide exceptional service
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the club's offerings and attractiveness

What we're looking for

  • Proven track record of leading a team, preferably in a club or pub environment
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to effectively manage a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
