An exciting opportunity has emerged at Mermaid Beach SLSC Supporters Club, Merlina's Restaurant, for a Manager / Restaurant Manager. We are looking for a hands-on hospitality professional to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our thriving Surf Club, supporting both the team and management.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and energetic individual with a strong background in managing hotels, licensed clubs, licensed restaurants, or cafes. You should possess extensive experience in the hospitality industry, a history of delivering premium customer service, and an understanding of the importance of leading from the front line.

You will join a diverse team of hospitality professionals, where you'll foster a positive and productive work environment. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team building, motivation, and staff development are essential.

Our Club at Mermaid Beach is a small to medium-sized venue, featuring our award-winning Merlina's Restaurant, a bar, 24 EGM's with TAB Sports Bar & Keno facilities. We pride ourselves on a hands-on approach and premium customer service.

Key requirements for this role include:

* RSA & RCG; an Approved Managers License (RMLV) is an advantage, along with any other relevant certificates.

* Excellent presentation and attention to detail.* Strong written and oral communication skills.

* Knowledge of Gaming (MAX Gaming), Data Base (Swift Pos), Social Media, and Marketing is an advantage.

* Experience in Functions and Events Coordination.

* Proficiency stock control, ordering, and merchandising.

* Strong planning and organizational skills.

* A commitment not only to your own progression but also to the progression of our team and the business, leading by example and professionalism.

We understand that finding someone with experience in all the above criteria is challenging. Many General Managers, Venue Managers or Duty Managers may not have expertise in every area, and we are committed to providing training.
