About the role

As a Customer Growth Representative, you'll play a key role in growing and retaining Alinta Energy's customer base. You'll engage with customers through inbound and outbound calls, uncovering their needs and recommending tailored energy solutions. This is a fast-paced, target-driven role where your ability to build rapport, promote products, and convert interest into action through a sales experience will directly impact our success.

Training is delivered in the office, Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Once training is complete, you'll transition to a rotating roster between 7am and 6pm on weekdays, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8am to 12pm. After training, you'll also have the flexibility to work from home part of the week, so it's important to have a quiet, dedicated workspace at home.

What you'll do

• Promote and sell Alinta Energy's products and services to new and existing customers across Australia.
• Participate in outbound campaigns to reengage and retain customers.
• Respond to general enquiries and follow up on customer queries with professionalism and care.
• Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets using effective objection handling and sales techniques.
• Deliver a high level of customer service aligned with our values and compliance standards.

Your experience

• Sales experience is preferred, however not necessary as confidence is key for candidates.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident using computers and able to manage multiple tasks while assisting customers over the phone.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to self-development.
• Customer service and contact centre experience is preferred but not essential.
