About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of market development in Sydney. This role is more than sales — it's about setting direction, shaping strategy, and delivering measurable growth across the truck, bus, trailer, and heavy vehicle aftermarket.

Key responsibilities:

Working with the Truckline State Sales Manager and the sales teams, you will:

  • Develop and execute market strategies to strengthen Trucklines position in the Sydney area that includes South coast market.
  • Identify and lead new business opportunities, driving customer acquisition across trade, wholesale, and fleet.
  • Shape long-term growth plans using data-driven insights, competitor analysis, and customer intelligence.
  • Position Truckline as the supplier of choice by aligning customer solutions across North American, Japanese, and European truck/bus builds and heavy trailer segments.
  • Build strategic partnerships that expand reach and secure sustainable revenue streams.
  • Act as a thought leader and market influencer, ensuring our market offering stays ahead of competitors.

About You


• 3–5+ years' experience in business development or sales leadership within commercial vehicles, heavy trucks, buses, or trailers.


• Proven ability to managing relationships and deliver business strategies with large companies on high value initiatives to grow the market.


• Strong commercial acumen and experience leading sales outcomes in the aftermarket.


• Product knowledge across multi-market vehicle builds (NA, Japanese, European).


• Exceptional negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills.


• A strategic, adaptable, and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growth.
