Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for renewable energy? Smart Commercial Solar is a leader in providing innovative energy solutions to businesses across Australia, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.

As a BDM, you will be a key driver of our growth, responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new commercial Solar & Battery projects. We're looking for a hunter with a proactive approach to generating leads, building strong client relationships, and of course closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage with potential commercial clients.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Present our tailored renewable energy solutions to C-level executives and business owners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, solutions and project management) to deliver seamless service and custom solutions.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • A "hunter" mentality with a self-motivated, goal-oriented approach.
  • A passion for renewable energy is preferred, however a desire to make a real impact is critical.
  • Experience in the commercial solar or renewable energy sector is also preferred, but not essential. We value effort, attitude and drive above all else and will provide full training to the right candidate.
