About The Role

Reporting to the Director of Golf, the NSW Technical & Sales Representative will achieve the sales, margin, distribution and merchandising objectives in line with the company's expectations and conduct fitting days, training and education on the Mizuno PFS and Hardware. This role services Sydney Metro and Northern NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth & revenue within the assigned territory by proactively identifying new opportunities, upselling within existing accounts, and consistently converting custom fitting sessions into purchases.
  • Act as a true sales ambassador for the Mizuno brand — not just representing the product, but strategically selling it through persuasive, value-driven communication with retailers and consumers.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profitability targets, ensuring performance is consistently above expectations.
  • Deliver compelling in-store training /product presentations that not only educate but directly drive sell-through and conversion, ensuring retail partners are equipped to actively sell Mizuno products.
  • Organize, lead, and follow up on high-impact fitting events /demo days, focused on closing sales and generating measurable ROI for the business.
  • Proactively merchandise /promote Mizuno's product range in-store to maximise visibility, storytelling, and point-of-sale conversion.
  • Collaborate with retail partners to identify /implement sales-driving initiatives, including promotions, local marketing, and store-specific activation strategies.
  • Ensure that accounts receivable remain within agreed terms, maintaining strong commercial relationships while ensuring consistent cash flow for the business.
  • Represent Mizuno professionally and strategically at industry exhibitions and events, with a focus on lead generation and account development.
  • Candidates must have Australian work rights and be eligible to work in Australia.
Key Skills
  • PGA qualified preferred but not essential.
  • Trackman Level 1 and 2 Certification preferred but not essential.
  • Passion for Golf and Sales with custom fitting experience (minimum 1-2 years)
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of B2B sales experience is required for this position.
  • B2B sales experience is essential for this position.
  • Proven confident presenter to audiences of all sizes and levels.
  • Product awareness of the Mizuno golf range as well as the competitors
  • Can multitask, handle varying daily priorities, work in a fast-paced environment and spend nights away from home for essential work travel.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Computer skills incorporating MS Office and Golf equipment fitting software. Laptop and Ipad are provided.
  • Full Australian driving licence with own reliable vehicle – a large SUV style vehicle is ideal for the role.
