  • Salary Package up to $124,982 pa. Package includes salary range ($99,938 pa to $110,271 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Location: Greenacre [minimum 3 office days required]

About the role:

The Technical Support Officer provides broad ranging Tier 1 support to users of the IT Service Desk, troubleshooting and resolving issues of simple to moderate complexity across the organisations' ICT environment.

The IT Service Desk has a roster from 8 am to 5 pm for taking support calls.

About you:

To be successful in the role you will have;

  • Demonstrated experience in providing frontline IT support to users across multiple locations, platforms and technologies
  • Good problem solving and customer service skills in order to assist FRNSW firefighters and corporate staff
  • Capability to quickly adapt and respond during heightened response periods
  • Well-honed documentation skills for accurate recording in both ticket and knowledge documentation.

Please note: This is not an entry-level position. Applicants should have a minimum of two years relevant experience in an IT service desk or similar technical support environment.
