We have partnered with a leading Australian media and publishing group to appoint an experienced and commercially driven Head of Affiliate Sales. This role offers the chance to shape strategy, drive revenue growth, and lead a high-performing team within one of the country's most influential content businesses.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Product & Client Solutions, the Head of Affiliate Sales will take ownership of the affiliate sales strategy, leading a specialist team to deliver consistent growth across multiple brands and platforms.

With affiliate sales as the core focus, you will play a pivotal role in developing new partnerships, optimising existing relationships, and delivering revenue through innovative campaigns and performance-driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company's affiliate sales strategy and drive content commerce capability.
  • Deliver year-on-year growth across affiliate channels, achieving key commercial targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with affiliate partners, platforms, and providers.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and optimise returns across campaigns.
  • Plan and execute affiliate activity around key revenue events (e.g. Black Friday, Boxing Day).
  • Provide regular reporting, insights, and analysis on affiliate performance and revenue.
  • Educate internal stakeholders and act as a thought leader in affiliate strategy.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Affiliate Account Managers and Campaign Executives.

About You:

  • Proven experience in affiliate sales is essential – ideally 5+ years in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or digital commerce roles
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams
  • Established relationships within the affiliate network
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Results-focused with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
