Our client brings together a premium suite of independent Out-Of-Home media owners under one roof, simplifying access to top-tier assets with a single contract and point of contact. Their focus is on delivering high quality OOH advertising solutions for brands across Australia.
We are growing quickly and looking to bring in a passionate media sales leader in Sydney, with an established Sydney Network focused on Tier 1 agencies.
Role Overview:
We are on the hunt for a Group Sales Manager to join the Sydney team and lead the charge of continued growth across Sydney Tier 1 media agencies.
In this key position, you will lead senior relationships externally, whilst supporting your team of 3 internally with ongoing training and market presence, with an end goal of ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction and greater share, from the Sydney media agency market.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney (2 days in office, 3 days from home).
Reporting to the Sales Director (NSW & QLD), you will work closely with your team (Account Managers & Executives) who will support you with all elements required day to day.
This is a pivotal hire within the team, you will play a crucial role in leading from the front, driving revenue growth within the what is a rapidly expanding Out-Of-Home industry in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and inspire your team internally, building strong relationships and ensuring continued team development
- Spearhead lead generation and business development efforts within the Sydney Tier 1 agency market to continue revenue growth
- Develop and implement sales strategies for your team to help achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Work closely with your Account Managers &/or Account executives to ensure first class quality sales presentations and proposals are being presented
- Leverage established relationships within the Sydney media industry and knock down new doors to educate and elevate company awareness
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through a team accountability mindset plus proactive account management practices
- Be a positive culture enforcer, driving positivity throughout the business and making work exciting everyday
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in media sales leadership (OOH preferred but not essential)
- Self-motivated, results-driven, proactive hunter is what we are looking for
- Well-connected within the Sydney media agency marketplace
- Demonstrable successful track record to date
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with innovative thinking and strong organisational skills
