We are looking for an experienced, creative and savvy minded Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Position is permanent full time, Monday to Friday and reports directly to the Marketing Director.

About the role:
Based in our HQ in Bayswater, Melbourne as our Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives across our full range of products and channels that drive engagement and build brand awareness.
As the Marketing Assistant you will report directly to our Marketing Director.

Key tasks & responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Assist with marketing Italy's most prestigious food and wine brands and share information to educate, inspire and promote.

  • Highlight the role Basile Imports plays in bringing these iconic brands to Australia.

  • Promoting the Company's marketing initiatives, along with daily marketing tasks i.e.

    • Monthly bulletin using Mailchimp to incorporate information on products, any news, street talk, recipes and corporate internal data

    • Product Information Sheets (PIS) either adding to existing product sheets or creating new ones for new products. Short sharp details which will then be added as a page on to catalogue

    • Sales Sheets part of the PIS source more detailed product information, details and point of difference offering ideas and product usage to Sales Team

    • EDM's- for new products, new promotions

  • Manage and Update the Company's Grocery and Wine Catalogues

    • New Products, New Range, New Supplier

    • Assisting deliverables for customers like POS material, Wine Lists, Ambassadorship programs

  • Sales Support

  • Events planning, organisation and execution that promote brands and engage with customers

  • All other activities as required by the Marketing Director

About You:
To be considered for this role you will need to possess the following experience and skills:
* Customer-focused with strong communication skills
* Confident in managing multiple projects with competing deadlines, whilst maintaining a high-quality output
* Hard-working, passionate, positive, collaborative, self-motivated and dedicated
* Advanced in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop skills
* Have Tertiary qualification in marketing, design or similar
* Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
