ContiTech Australia, part of the Continental Group, is seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join our Service Engineering Team on a 1-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your CAD expertise and contribute to impactful projects across multiple international regions.

In this role, you will contribute to projects in the Service Engineering Team for IAPAC and support the Service Engineering (SE) activities for the IEMEA and IAM regions. Working within the Application Engineering sub-team – Service Engineering, you will support our Sales Channels in achieving both short and long-term business objectives, increasing profit, and driving market growth. Your focus will be on CAD design, drawing preparation, and BOM development.

You bring a strong technical mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualifications in technical, science, or business studies
• 1–3 years of professional experience in project management, technical sales, application engineering, or drafting
• Proven CAD and drafting experience, preferably with Autodesk Inventor
• Experience working on industrial sites
• Exposure to major projects, particularly in mining, bulk materials handling, or industrial services, will be highly regarded
• Strong proficiency in English is essential

• Assist projects in the Service Engineering Team for IAPAC, focusing on innovative belt handling systems and equipment design
• Create detailed CAD designs and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor for service engineering projects such as winding machines and belt stands
• Manage document control and file management within large-scale projects
• Support belt installation and replacement projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site support worldwide
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to conduct technical feasibility studies and ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain quality control standards, prepare technical documentation, and present findings to key stakeholders
• Keep up to date with industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and team performance
