About the role

Spartan First Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and organised Medical Administrative Officer to join our Client Results team in Welshpool, WA. This is a part-time role that will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support. You will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our client service operations, ensuring medical results are processed to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to our clients, including scheduling appointments, managing records, and handling client inquiries
  • Coordinating and organising pre-employment medical assessments and documentation
  • Providing non-clinical patient care e.g. dealing with requests for information, test results etc
  • Ensuring all medical information is securely uploaded and stored
  • Monitoring emails and telephone calls
  • Reporting on client KPI's

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a medical receptionist or medical administrative assistant or similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry
  • A sound understanding of medical terminology and administrative result processes
  • An understanding of pre-employment medical assessments
  • Experience using Best Practice or similar medical software
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members
  • Proficient in the use of various office software, including Microsoft Office suite
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality records and documentation
  • A customer-focused approach and a genuine interest in providing exceptional client service
