Salary:
$ $33.26 per hour + Super +$15,990 Salary Packaging + Staff Perks

We're looking for a passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at St Andrew's Aged Care. If you're ready to combine culinary excellence with leadership in a values-driven aged care environment, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

What You'll Do

  • Run your own kitchen and oversee 72 covers per service

  • Lead and support a dedicated kitchen team

  • Design innovative, resident-informed menus

  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards

  • Manage stock, budgets, and cost controls

  • Collaborate with care teams to meet dietary needs

  • Act as Food Safety Officer and drive continuous improvement

What You'll Bring

  • Experience in commercial cookery (large-scale or aged care preferred)

  • Strong leadership and team management skills

  • Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery

  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations

  • Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening

  • Queensland Driver's Licence
