Our client is a well-known automotive company in SA that has a diverse business with multiple locations and branches across Australia employing over 600 employees.  The operations are divided up into a number of trading departments and divisions including retail, manufacturing, engineering, sales and service.

THE POSITIONS...

As a Finance & Insurance Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping customers secure tailored finance and insurance solutions that enhance their vehicle purchase experience. You will also drive dealership profitability by offering a range of aftercare products — all while ensuring compliance and delivering top-tier customer service.

This is a key leadership position, working closely with Dealer Principals and Sales Managers across both light and heavy vehicle divisions, helping shape strategic initiatives and improve overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Present and secure finance, loan, lease, and insurance products to vehicle buyers.
• Tailor F&I packages to suit customer needs while maximising dealership revenue.
• Ensure all finance and insurance applications and documentation are accurate and compliant.
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Work closely with the Sales Team to identify F&I opportunities and support training.
• Report regularly on finance penetration, insurance sales, and product performance.
• Stay current on regulatory and compliance requirements (including responsible lending laws).

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR... This role is suitable for someone with proven experience in automotive finance & insurance, banking, or lending with a natural customer service and sales approach.

We are looking for an excellent communicator and someone who has the drive and ambition to help the clients and get results.  In return you will earn an attractive base with the potential to earn very generous commissions.

• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• High standards of professionalism, ethics, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• A valid driver's licence.
