Are you an experienced, dynamic leader with a passion for hospitality and event management? We're seeking a Catering & Events Convention Center Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of catering operations and event execution at our premier convention center.

About the Role:

As the Catering & Events Manager, you'll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events—from corporate conferences and trade shows to weddings and large-scale banquets. You'll lead a talented team to ensure high-quality service, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all catering and event operations within the convention center.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Lead and supervise event planning staff, culinary teams, and service staff.
  • Ensure events are executed flawlessly from setup to breakdown.
  • Create proposals, budgets, and event timelines.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve service standards and operational efficiency.
  • Forecast event trends and collaborate on marketing strategies to increase bookings.
  • Marketing and Promote the Center
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, or event management.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
