Catering Assistant

Peppergreen Farm Catering is looking for an enthusiastic service-orientated Catering Assistant.

This role is based at Peppergreen Farm Cateringlocated in Bendigo, a short 5-minute drive from the farm and will see you working between Monday – Friday.

You will be an all rounder, assisting with preparation and cooking of food for meals for catering purposes.

We are seeking someone with high-levels of empathy and compassion, someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality food and great service and above all is passionate about all things food, like us

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a commercial kitchen environment (highly desirable but not essential)
• Customer service and communication skills
• Capacity to work with people who experience a broad range of disability types and require varying support needs (desirable)
• Be reliable, punctual, and hard working
• Baking skills (highly desirable but not essential)
• Relevant understanding of dietary requirements (desirable)
• Food Handling and Food Safety Certificate (essential)
• Current Manual Drivers Licence (essential)
• High level of personal integrity and professionalism
• The desire to contribute to our purpose and grow with the company
• Above all, a great personality with a can-do attitude

You'll be part of a supportive team, helping to deliver great food and service to our clients and customers throughout the Bendigo region.

Please note the following Mandatory Pre-employment Screenings will be required prior to being offered a role with WISE Employment, these will include;

• Australian National Police Check, including Right to work in Australia (conducted by WISE)
• NDIS Workers Screening Check (fee payable by candidate), please visit to learn more
