Description
Reporting to the HR Manager, as HR Business Partner you will be supported by a large and experienced HR team and will work closely with operational leaders to foster a culture of engagement, performance, and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Align the HR strategy with business objectives, specifically within the fast-paced, blue-collar logistics environment
- Partner with operational leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and enhance employee engagement.
- Provide expert guidance on matters including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and promoting a fair and equitable workplace.
- Utilise data including HR metrics to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions to improve organisational effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and management, fostering open communication and a positive work environment.
- Efficiently managing the recruitment process shortlist and phone screen candidates for suitable employment
- Supporting learning and development initiatives including but not limited to facilitating training
- Utilise analytics available to drive decision making
- Supporting HR Surveys - including driving customer satisfaction, compliance, survey responses and follow up, action plans
Profile
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in a large scale, logistics or blue-collar environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and industrial relations, particularly within an EA framework.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- This role may also suit an experienced HR Manager, from a smaller, blue-collar organisation who is looking for a step into a global organisation
