We're on the hunt for an experienced and upbeat Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Ducks crew in our beautiful Bellingen location.

This role is perfect for someone who loves great food, good vibes, and being part of a tight-knit team. You'll be working closely with our Restaurant Manager and team leaders to deliver genuine, warm hospitality - the kind that keeps people coming back.

We're looking for someone who's confident running a service, leads by example, and knows how to keep things running smoothly even when it's busy. You'll be across everything from guest experience and team support to opening/closing, cash handling, and stock management.

Our venue operates Wednesday to Sunday, with a busy calendar of upcoming events. The role is available either Casual or Full Time employment.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supervising daily restaurant and/or bar operations
  • Leading service and supporting the floor and bar teams
  • Maintaining high standards of customer service and presentation
  • Training and mentoring junior team members
  • Assisting with rostering, stock control and daily reports
  • Upholding food safety and RSA standards

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in a supervisor or senior front-of-house/bar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A calm, positive attitude under pressure
  • Solid knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
  • A genuine love for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Availability to work a mix of days, nights and weekends
