Penny Appeal is an award winning, international humanitarian charity delivering aid in over 30 countries including Australia. Job Summary:

The Events/Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for engaging the community and potential new partners, to gain support and fundraising for PA Australia according to the Strategic Plan and annual teamwork plan.

He/she will plan, develop, co-ordinate, produce and execute a variety of events across Australia for

fundraising and promotion of Penny Appeal Australia, in consultation with the Senior Leadership Team and other relevant staff members. He/she will organise own events and campaigns as well as third party events.

He/she will produce risk assessments, itinerary and schedules, logistical arrangements with suppliers,

catering, transport, accommodation, etc.

The role will also be overseeing the development of "Team Orange" volunteer program. Our aim is to change the face of volunteering across the AUSTRALIA within the coming year. The successful candidates will hold responsibility for the development and delivery of the Team Orange program. The successful candidates will be tasked with the full lifecycle of facet project development, from concept to successful completion, as well as working closely with the Fundraising Managers and other managers within Penny Appeal in delivering the volunteer recruitment, retention, reward and management objectives.
