**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**In this role, the main responsibilities include**:

- Seeking opportunities to purchase earthmoving and civil construction equipment stock for sale or auction by Pickles with a view to increase stock on hand
- Developing and driving a NSW based sales strategy to ensure branding and awareness of Pickles services is maximised via research, canvassing and conversion of relevant businesses into Pickles clients
- Maintaining and building relationships with current earthmoving and civil construction equipment dealers as well as developing new relationships
- Develop variations of Pickles services that we can facilitate to the dealer network through various avenues
- Assists where required on large earthmoving and civil construction equipment event sales, both from an operational and sales perspective
- Works in with the team on inspection and sale days to assist with enquiries, valuations and general customer service
- Recording all meetings and sales activity in the CRM system
- Developing and passing on sales leads to the State Sales Manager

**ABOUT YOU**
**- An experienced business development and sales professional with a trucks/machinery, transportation, construction, earthmoving or agricultural equipment background (knowledge of these assets + valuation skills will be a distinct advantage
- Proven experience using a CRM system to a high level
- High level interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- High customer service focus and time management skills
- Strategic thinker & solution focused as well as adaptable & flexible
- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment where they will be driving new business development and continuously looking for new business opportunities
- Experienced in the auction or related industry and able to show demonstrated success in achieving financial and sales targets
- Able to demonstrate knowledge of the relevant industry and assets
- Experienced in using Microsoft Office and other IT based systems at a proficient level
