We're seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and driven Community Engagement & Business Development Manager to lead our participant engagement and service promotion across our NDIS-supported accommodation streams in Tasmania : Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short-Term Accommodation (STA), and Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA).

This is more than a job — it's a chance to be the bridge between care and independence, advocacy and action, connection and community.

As our Community Engagement & Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in growing our presence, building trust, and connecting NDIS participants with the life-changing support they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build trust with NDIS participants and their families
  • Represent Ablepoint Australia with authenticity and professionalism
  • Promote our Supported Independent Living (SIL), STA, and MTA services in the community
  • Create and nurture strong relationships with support coordinators, community partners, and healthcare professionals
  • Advocate for people with disabilities and champion choice, inclusion, and independence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred support

Who We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years' experience in the disability, NDIS, or community services sector
  • A solid understanding of NDIS support pathways, especially around accommodation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and community engagement skills
  • A deep belief in diversity, inclusion, and participant-led care
  • Motivation to grow, represent a values-led brand, and make a real impact every day
