Job Title: Lead IT Recruitment Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Candidate Sourcing and Assessment:

  2. Utilise various sourcing methods including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events to identify and attract top IT talent.

  3. Screen and interview candidates to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit with client organizations.
  4. Candidates must possess intermediate technical knowledge to effectively assess and evaluate technical skills during the screening and interview process.

  5. End-to-End Recruitment Process:

  6. Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial job requisition to offer negotiation and onboarding.

  7. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and clients, providing detailed feedback to both parties.

  8. Market Research and Analysis:

  9. Stay updated on IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and talent availability in the Perth market.

  10. Provide insights and recommendations to clients regarding market conditions and salary benchmarks.

  11. Candidate Pipeline Management:

  12. Build and maintain a robust database of qualified IT professionals for current and future job openings.

  13. Implement proactive recruitment strategies to anticipate and fulfil client demands.

  14. Compliance and Documentation:

  15. Ensure all recruitment processes and documentation adhere to relevant legal and compliance standards.

  16. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, job requisitions, and placements.

  17. Performance Metrics and Reporting:

  18. Track and report on key recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate quality, and client satisfaction.

  19. Provide regular updates to management on recruitment activities, challenges, and successes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT recruitment, preferably within the Australian market.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of IT recruitment experience is required for this position.
  • Strong knowledge of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using recruitment software and databases.
  • Experience with any CRM/ATS system is required to effectively utilise recruitment software and databases.
