About this Role

Our SMSF Team is responsible for an expanding SMSF portfolio which currently exceeds 300 funds. With guidance from an experienced senior leadership team, you'll be working with a dedicated SMSF team and established client base to provide accounting and tax compliance, which includes liaison with external auditors.

The communication style at MWM is informal and at the same time respectful. We want our clients to feel welcome when they visit, so we encourage our people to interact with our clients to make them feel comfortable. In your role you will enjoy plenty of interaction both in person and on the phone.

We are seeking a person with great skills and a great outlook. As well as being an excellent communicator, you will have:

• At least 3 years' SMSF experience in a public practice environment
• Working towards CA/CPA/IPA qualification
• Experience with Class Super and/or BGL
• Demonstrated SMSF Technical skills in line with the SIS legislation
• SMSF specialist certification would be an advantage.
• Ability to assess priorities and the drive to see them through to completion.
• Ability to take initiative, consider alternative solutions and act autonomously.
• A keen interest in delivering exceptional service to a wide range of clients.
• A team mentality and thrive in a collaborative environment.

We use VOIP telephony enabling softphone or mobile access at home.
