Look no more as we are seeking the the best mortgage broker in the market to work with an award winning team.  We are seeking a junior mortgage broker who holds more than 2 years experience and preferably in lending administration looking to be come a mortgage broker Or you may already be underway in becoming a Mortgage Broker.

This role will will involve you being the point of contact for customers referred by our network whereby you will conduct the first initial meeting and then work with a team to assist you all the way to settlement.  The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside our Senior Mortgage Broker for mentor and assisting deals to lead our residential lending division through an important growth phase.

In preparation of the the client file you will be asked to gather information, allocate files in relevant folder, double check information, assist and grow into the role of product comparison, lending servicing and loan submissions.

In the meantime you will also be asked to take office calls, assist with loan pricing and managing appointments for both the senior loan broker and the director.

You will work and head meetings each week to review the pipeline and delegate tasks where required to help you achieve the teams settlement goal.

Established in 2013 My Seeker Loans is a reputable Finance Broking business offering a range of finance from residential, commercial, asset finance and investments in SMSF.  The client base is varied and includes a large portion of high net wealth and medical clientele. MySeekerLoans has been nominated for numerous awards and recently has won Best Regional Broker Business in QLD for Plan Australia for 2023.

My Seeker Loans continues to experience high levels of growth and is looking for the right broker to join the team.  The referral network ranges from accountants, financial planner and real estate agents and will allow the individual to also tap into these established relationships and hopefully also introduce further or their own network.

This position would suit an experienced, confident and motivated administration loan processor wanting to become mortgage broker who is looking for an opportunity to further your career in the finance industry or a junior mortgage broker looking to work in a growing firm.

Qualifications & experience

· Previous experience working as a loan broker is great and will be considered minimum 2 years but not essential

· Previous experience working in the finance industry imperative and essential for at least 2 years.

· Organised with a good understanding of spreadsheets, word processing, and database management using Financial CRM systems such as MyCRM.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to have the required client conversations daily. Firm and confident nature to chase up banks and clients.

· High attention to detail and accuracy.

· Able to work in both an unsupervised and busy office environment.

· Ability to work hands-on in a Small Business, creating systems and processes to streamline and improve the organisation.

· Adaptable and willingness to undertake multiple priorities within dedicated time frames within a changing environment.

· Cert IV or diploma in Mortgage Broking.

Tasks & responsibilities

· Meet with and present loan options to senior mortgage broker and director.

· Assist with file preparation, serviceability calculators, borrowing capacity letters and compliance for your clients.

· Order upfront valuations, collect information and documents required to complete loan applications, submit completed loan application and supporting documents to the lender for assessment for your clients.

· Follow up clients and the banks/external providers.

· Maintain and foster key relationships with referral partners, bank BDM's and conveyancers to resolve any queries.

· Maintain the CRM system (MyCrm) for your clients.

· Track the status of loan application and liaise with clients, lenders, conveyancers and referral partners and ensure settlement happens on time.
